My illustrious career in this world began with my parents naming me after a mermaid from a movie, which technically means I am named after a street. It also began in North Dakota, land of the snow over my head in winter, lead to Indiana, meandered up to Massachusetts, wandered over to Michigan and seems to have now settled back in Massachusetts.
If you have met me in real life, chances are I have either purred at you or given you a shoulder rub. There is even the small chance that I have purred at you while giving you a shoulder rub, though my attention span isn't generally good enough to keep up with both at once.
I am eccentric. Which is really longhand for crazy, and considering my fond feelings for felines, will lead to crazy old cat lady, given time.
